Epic Battle Fantasy 5: RPG - Even With A MIXED ART Style, The Game STILL MANAGES To Be GREAT!

Translate
So I tried this game called Epic Battle Fantasy 5: RPG and while it felt like an amateur anime art style, I also thought this was a really fun game, made by people who obviously really enjoyed the JRPG genre.
Gameplay wise you play a young pirate who gets mad that some form large blast has broken their TV and they go on a quest for revenge on whoever has done this to them.
Combat is turn based and has zero auto combat at all which is a welcome feature in games that usually have it. While in combat you have a choice of various skills that you can use, as well as activating a limit break which I thought was pretty cool.
The story is also pretty funny and very self aware. Visually this game is a mixed bag, while at first I enjoyed the anime style art, it did however feel very amateur. And then in certain cutscenes the art style would change completely, and remind of me certain kid books.
Which was slightly jarring to say the least And then during the combat the art style would change again slightly, to a more anime style once again, but not quite the same as what was in the chat boxes.
Very weird if you ask me, but it isn't game breaking or would stop me from enjoying the game itself. Overall I'd say that Epic Battle Fantasy 5: RPG is a very self aware game made by developers who really enjoy the genre and know a lot about it based on their comedic conversations in the game. Art work is varied but it's still a good RPG game for mobile devices. You should definitely check this one out... However, as a cat lover, I'm not sure how I feel about all the jokes about eating cats.
