THOUGHTS on Alpha Ace (Garena)
With Alpha Ace Finally being playable in my area, I've decided to give my honest thoughts and opinions.
The First thing that I'm going to address is that, the Aim Assist in the game is very strong, to the point that aiming at your enemies is now effortless, And Let's just say that I didn't like that feature at all. There's also Autofire witch is as bad as Aim Assist. It just takes the fun and challenge away from the game.
Second is Performance. My phone can run most games smoothly, with it having 4GB of Ram and a decent processor/cpu. But this game manages to still get framedrops and lagspikes even though I set the In game Framerate to high and the overall graphics to Smooth. The menu is also laggy, it takes a few seconds to enter something, like the ingame shop, inventory and etc.
Third is the servers. It's sort of fine, Sometimes it lags but it's not very frequent.
Fourth is customizeability, You can freely cutomize your controls, and the game also labels the top left of the screen as a firing area, like in Standoff 2. The customization for the crosshair on the other hand is limited, with the game just giving you a few presets and options.
Finally, the in game purchases are okay to say the least, the skins actually look amazing with a few animated details, Unlike CS:GO where it's just, well, a skin, Alpha Ace has some cool gun skins similar to those in Crossfire, COD:M and etc.
