WipeSquad impression
This multiplayer FPS game is very interesting. The graphics has the boarderlands-esque aesthetic and the sound and animations are fine but I would say needs a little more work. The gameplay and mechanics are also interesting. I do enjoy the shop mechanic too.
What is most fascinating about this game is the controls, it uses gesture controls such as swiping to shoot and slide and dodge, instead of the usual button layout. The more I play with these gesture controls the more I realize how important the buttons are. Sometimes you find your character sliding and dodging instead of your normal movement and sprinting. Sometimes you're shooting or aiming instead of looking around which makes you run out of bullets and get killed easily. But I think this will work very well if it's polished enough. My suggestion is to have a form of visual cue to let the player know what they're currently doing. And also make the gestures more distinct so that they don't mistakenly perform other actions.
Another annoying thing is the friendly fire, most of the time you die to friendly fire than the enemies. š
Overall, this game is very good and enjoyable, the only problem I have with it so far is the gesture misinputs and friendly fire. Good job, devs. Keep it up šāØ
