► NEW INTERIORS
Just because it’s the end of the world doesn’t mean we can’t have nice things. We gave our interiors a little makeover; take a look around the next time you enter a house, cave, or bunker — if the coast is clear.
Spruced up houses, caves, and bunkers.
► ENEMY RANGE
The danger range around enemies that can attack you from afar, like spitters or bandits, is depicted more accurately now.
► WORLD MAP
For the time being, we’ve removed the ability to zoom out on the world map to focus on a smoother world exploration experience. You might also notice it’s easier to tap on different things 👆
► DESTROY ON RESOURCES + TOOLS
While out in an encounter, you’ll notice a few changes in your equipment bag: we’ve added a destroy button on resources, tools, consumables, and removed the use button on consumables. Of course, you’re still able to salvage weapons and gear while out in the world.
► UI/UX
We’re continuously polishing things up and in this update, you’ll find a flashing yellow lozenge shape guiding you, especially throughout the early phases of the game. We hope this improved UI will make it a bit easier for first-time survivors to pick up the game and get a head start.
⚒ Fixes► INFINITE LOADING
Endless Survival shouldn’t mean Endless Loading. The events that triggered infinite loading screens should be fixed now. Let us know if it happens again!
► THE WELL
Well, well, well — nothing has caused quite as much ire as the well. There were a few issues with the well involving revealing it and upgrading it to access new regions in the map. We’ve fixed some of these issues, but it’s possible that the well reveal bug at Grimoire level 10 is still present. We hope to obliterate this bug entirely as soon as we can. In the mean time, please let us know in the comments if you’re still experiencing it (or if your issue got resolved!), your user name, and any other helpful information about what happened before you got stuck. Thank you.
► AUTOMATIC SHOOTING
As sweet as it was to blast enemies endlessly with a never ending supply of bullets and without damaging your weapon, that was a bug, and it’s now a thing of the past. #sorrynotsorry
► “CRAFT AN AXE” QUEST
Many of you reported getting stuck at this tool shed quest and we’re happy to report that this issue should now be solved.
