Defense & Protect Epic Towers is Fun But Needs Improvements...

This game was very fun to play but several problems hurt the experience for me. Defense & Protect Epic Towers is a traditional tower defense game with some slight uniqueness to it. Aside from placing turrets and defending lanes you also have access to a character spaceship. This spaceship can be moved anywhere on the map at any time. It does basic attack damage to the enemies but also has a special ability as well. This adds fun and more strategy to the gameplay experience.
You can also upgrade the turrets after you place them which can unlock a special hellfire attack mode for them. It's basically a rage mode for the turret and lets it put out tons of damage fast. The problem I had with this is that by default you have to manually activate it. It has an option for auto, but you have to enable the auto use button on every new map you play and every new turret you upgrade. I wanted just a one-time setting to turn auto hellfire on for all my turrets.
The game has several different turrets you can unlock with either real life money or in game gold. Although there really isn't as many different turrets as I would hope to see. The game is very aggressive with the monetization. The game has tons of different ways for you to spend real life money. The problem is spending money doesn't just speed up your progress, but it can also unlock new turrets and spaceships you wouldn't have access to until you get further in the campaign missions. This basically means you can spend some money early game and breeze through all the early levels without any real challenge at all.
My overall thoughts is that is a fun game that is above average but has potential to be so much more with improvements and more content. Currently all the game has to offer is linear campaign missions. I'd like to see more game modes with some variety to them.
