An Interesting Mix of Roller Derby and Drama

Translate
Roller Drama is both a narrative and a strategic real-time sports game about five girls playing Roller Derby in an oppressive and surveillance-based society. In Roller Drama you are the mentor and coach by the name of Joan, and There are five women on this team: Portia, Anne, Lily, Cordelia and Juliet — each of whom have their own personalities and goals when it comes to life on and off the rink(the standard in-game team of one jammer and four blockers).
During my time playing Roller Drama I learned how to actually play roller derby which was interesting when I first did the first match. I think the game truly excels at the dialogue-relationship dynamic the game puts you with when speaking with your team. Even going to as far as giving your team pep talks to help boost morale.
Now this game has two major gameplay mechanic/sections to attend to. Which the first major time players will spend is inside of this hotel that houses all of your team including yourself and you'll have to keep morale and spirits high if you want them to perform exceptionally well during the Derby side of the gameplay.
Each match consists of three jams, where your jammer tries to lap the opponents’ guarding players and vice versa. Every time the jammer laps an opponent, they score a point for their team. Gameplay consists of switching between your jammer’s skills and your guarding players’ skills to wrack up points. This is a bit difficult to keep track of at first, despite the relative simplicity of these toolkits. Jammers can jump, accelerate, guard, and hit, while the guards can line up different defensive formations
Additionally, you can deploy bombs which will temporarily stun everyone within their proximity, and play cards that provide different boosts. You gain these cards from playing through story sections, as rewards for different choices you make during the narrative interludes, or as bonuses for performing well in matches.
