When Climate Change Makes You The Last Fox On Earth?

Endling: Extinction is Forever is an indie survival-adventure game developed by Spanish studio Herobeat Studios and published by German HandyGames. Endling is really good at creating tension, which is extremely satisfying trying to manage. Early in the game, one of your cubs is stolen. As the days progress with you finding food for your remaining cubs, you pick up the scent trail of your missing one. My playthrough is currently being played on iOS, which the game cost around $10 USD. It is currently on consoles like Nintendo switch and PlayStation
The opening scene is rather sad. So you are the last surviving fox on the planet, and the game opens with you frantically escaping a raging forest fire. A fire being purposely ignited by humans, I should add. Once you scramble to a safe hideout for the night you collapse, and it’s then that we discover you are actually a very pregnant fox who gives birth to 4 little pups.
The games length is around 4 hours in total and it's completely a survival game. Meaning at any moment you as the mother fox and your pups can die. The game sets you up in a peculiar situation as one of your pups go missing. Which your task is to find said pup while managing your other pups with food. They can grow older and join you on quests as well.
Now the mechanics of the game is quite simple, As when you play as the mother fox you can duck, run, and as well as bark too. Endling tells a great message through environmental  as humans are painted as the villains in a sense. The major part is the game wont really dictate humans as villains due to the fact its all about survival and no matter if you're a pregnant fox and the last of your kind in a world full of climate change. Were all trying to survive one way or another and for us players we see in a beautiful storytelling way by the devs that survival is the big key here and this can spell doom if not fix in the next 50 or so years.
