Queen's Heroes Has Great Battle Mechanics But The Graphics Are Too Pixelated...

Translate
Queens Heroes in a hero collecting RPG with engaging battle mechanics. The game does a great job teaching you the battle mechanics with the tutorial. There is not auto combat instead you need to constantly adjust and move your characters on a 3x3 tile grid in order to attack the boss or avoid its attacks. I loved this style because it always makes you feel a part of the battle and not like your just watching battle animations. If you have a melee hero you need to move them in the front row in order to have them, use their basic attack, whereas the range dps heroes can still dmg in the back part of the grid.
When the boss attacks you will see an indication on which tiles will get hit so you can move you characters to a different tile to avoid the attack. The game isn't very forgiving though because if a hero gets hit by an attack, they take a ton of damage. Usually after 3 hits your character will die. The other problem is some of the bosses have some unavoidable special effects. For instance, this one boss will just straight up eat one of your characters and then after a few seconds spit them out and they take massive damage. The graphics for me feel way too pixelated. It was often hard for me to distinguish things from each other. When in the character management menu, the characters just look horrible.
I also didn't like the way they did the gacha system. They have one banner that gives you a chance to get heroes mixed with weapons and gear. This makes it very difficult to actually pull a hero because the rng is so high with all the different things you can possibly get from just 1 banner. The gear and heroes should have separate banners. This would ensure when summoning you have a better chance to get something you're actually looking for. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent game that you may enjoy. It is at the very least worth trying out.
