Coming soon to iOS and Android, SkateFish allows you to catch fish while performing tricks

In case you missed it, SkateFish, a colorful game from Whitethorn Games where you strive to dazzle fish in order to catch them, is set to launch soon. The game asks you to flip and grind your way across ledges to boost your reputation and — as is the obvious end goal here — catch yourself a boatload of fish to spruce up the neighborhood aquarium. It was unveiled alongside a vast roster of games at the Whitethorn Games 2023 Winter Showcase yesterday.

SkateFish already sounds like an interesting project based on the notion alone, particularly because no other mobile game has probably ever attempted to merge skating and fishing. The game, which was created by the team behind BOMBFEST, features straightforward touch controls that let you pull off spectacular aerial maneuvers to capture fish.
