Wizards Survival: A Short Game Review

Wizards Survival is a 2D pixel survival RPG mobile game with lots of unique characters to play with. Right away, this game reminded me of 20 minutes till dawn survival game where you have to survive for the indicated time while you do whatever possible to keep yourself alive. I do enjoy these types of games where you hit then run, kill to get loots, collect the loots to level up and upgrade and much more! But to my disappointment, this game seems to have a serious bug. Even after surviving for the indicated time, the game just continues and won't end until I die. There are many other contents that will only unlock once you cleared a stage. But I was not able to clear a single stage due to this bug in the game.

There are lots of characters to unlock in this game and you need gold to unlock them which you can grind from the game. Each character has unique ability which forces you to approach enemies in the battle in different way, thus giving you variety of fun experience in a single gameplay. I did like each characters with their unique artwork design with their unique skill.

Looking into the gameplay, I loved how our character starts from very basic setup with just primary weapon to use. As you defeat enemies, you can get the loot drops but you need to collect them. Thus, even after killing enemies, you might not be able to retrieve your loots right away as a massive horde of enemies will always be after your life. The loots will increase your exp bar and some loots can even heal your lots health.

Right after you level up, you can select a new skill or an upgrade to your existing skill. The options available will be random. So, more you level up, more upgrades that you can get which can help you a lot in killing your enemies and getting even more loots. I really loved how you have to strategize when picking up right skills as you progress through the game trying to improve your DPS and killing efficiency. This gradual quick progression of my character is what has always hooked me to these genre of games. There is always a rush thrill.

But to my greatest disappointment, this game seems to have this massive bug which does not allow me to win even a single game even after fulfilling its requirement. First gameplay mode asked me to survive for 5 minutes to win but even after 5 minutes, I found myself being chased by enemies and game still continuing. Thus I was not even able to unlock other gaming modes. This one factor alone made this game quite unplayable for me.

Overall, this game looks good but due to a bug, this game is quite unplayable. Maybe this game might work in different platform or device? So honestly, I can't recommend this game to anyone as of this moment. Let me know your view in the comments below. Cheers!
