Treasure Hunter PROS and CONS. Is it Good?

Treasure Hunter is a small platformer game, where you will be running around as a pirate. Lets take a look how good it is.

In this article we will talk about both good and bad sides of Treasure Hunter so you can decide if this is the right game for you.

PROS

1. Cute graphics

Treasure Hunter isnt trying to look intimidating and serious. It have very cute cartoonish graphics with nice animation and a lot of care to the details.

2. Responsive Controls

Its essential to have good responsive controls for a platformer game. Treasure Hunter done this right, so jumping around, doing midair double jumps and stuff like that isnt that hard and complex. Although the control buttons could be bigger.

3. Customization options.

You can select one of 4 character with different stats to play with. This amount of customization is really good for such a small platformer game like Treasure Hunter .

4. Great music and sound effects.

Background music is really good and adds a lot to the immersion. Sounds are well made too and in case of Treasure Hunter  you dont want to turn music off, which is rare.

CONS

1. Lack of content.

Currently Treasure Hunter features only 1 island, which consists of 5 levels. Another one is marked coming soon.

2. Low rewards for level completion.

In order to recruit top character you need 1000 golden skulls. You get around 10-20 per level and about 1000 coins that can be exchanged for 5 sculls. You can calculate how much time you need to get this character now. (hint: 40 runs)

Verdict. Is Treasure Hunter Good?

Yes

If you are looking for some short term game, Treasure Hunter  will be perfect for you. Its easy to get in, short and pretty fun. Although if you are looking for something more serious and long term, in a current state it cant offer you that much.
