Swipeventures - A Quick Game Review

Swipe Ventures is a RPG dungeon mobile game with lots of dungeons to clear with our 3 heroes with very amazing abilities. Honestly, I was not expecting much from this 2D pixel-art game but to my amazement, the gameplay features were very amazing! I found this game to be very challenging and there is a great sense of character and story progression in this game.

Looking into the gameplay, it kind of felt like a tower defense game where our 3 hero characters will be placed on the bottom of the screen to kill any approaching enemies. The enemies will be advancing from the top of the screen to downwards and our characters need to do their best to defend their column lane. The real challenge is managing our ranged unit who is the one only capable of killing ranged enemies. And she is also capable of healing with her ability. We should always use abilities as soon as available with single tap. We can use ultimate skill with the double tap. I loved to see how each skill is different and has great battle functions. I really enjoyed managing my units strategically moving here and there while focusing on their unique skills to keep waves of enemies in control.

Another feature of this game which I really loved is the story type progression inside the dungeon. You will be presented with choices options after clearing a dungeon room on to do certain activities which could provide you with lots of stuffs like character upgrades or rewards.

After the dungeon completion, you can get lots of rewards and characters will level up as well. So, when you do the dungeon next time, you will be stronger. I really appreciated the detailed tutorial in this game which was immensely helpful.

Overall, this game is just too good even though its 2D pixel art game because of its rich gameplay features and great sense of RPG progression. I highly recommend you guys to try out this super challenging mobile game! Cheers!
