Is Egg Hero Idle RPG Worth Waiting For? Potential Pros and Cons

Egg Hero Idle RPG looks pretty interesting, as a concept, but there are some major things, that might totally push you away. So is it worth your time?

PROS

1. Nice cartoonish graphics

I feel like Egg Hero Idle RPG was inspired by Idle Slime, since graphics looks really similar. And its a good thing, since its nice to the eye and fits the idea of the game right.

2. Potentially good setting

Egg Hero Idle RPG have really nice potential of creating cool backstory alike Angry Birds. We are fighting prehistoric humans, so I can imagine that we could be protecting our egg family and friends, or maybe overall animals who are going to be eaten by hungry humans. We will see how much of it will come to life.

CONS

1. Game isnt finished.

There are only few mechanics introduced in Egg Hero Idle RPG, those are basic stat upgrades. No skills, no pets, no growth. No anything. You go round and round fighting exactly the same enemies.

2. Coming soon™

I am worried that the game will not introduce any new ideas in the Idle genre and will just copy paste the same gameplay we saw a million times in the new setting/graphics.

3. Too easy

In a current state, enemies are being oneshotted, bosses are easy and I played it for hour, so no challenge so far. I suppose it wasnt properly balances yet, since there are no skills.

No

Currently I can call Egg Hero Idle RPG a technical demo. In that case its a good start. I am not sure why would someone release a game in such early stage, but here we are. It have potential though, so based on the content and mechanics it can be a pretty cool Idle game.
