Patch Notes - 31th March, 2023

Dear Arena Players,

Server maintenance is happening on March 31 at 7:00am (UTC).Both Android and iOS versions will be updated to 1.34.1473522. You will need to update the app on the App Store (iOS), Google Play (Android) or TapTap (Android).

During the first 30 minutes of maintenance, all online players will be forced to log out. To avoid any possible interruptions to your matches, please log out before the maintenance period. We appreciate your understanding and support.

Here are the details of this update:

>>>3v3 Mid-Match Hero Swapping

"Mid-Match Hero Swapping is coming to 3v3, making battles even more dynamic and unpredictable!"

1. 3v3 Hero Swapping: Players may now swap Heroes mid-match;

2. How to Swap Heroes: After being KOed, players will be able to select a different Hero before their revive timer runs out;

3. Trophy Settlement: Trophy Settlement post-matches will be adjusted dependent on the Heroes used mid-match;

"Lock and load for non-stop excitement - Join the action-packed in-game events"

1. "Hero Challenge" - Take on a series of challenges with different Heroes, and receive exclusive rewards;

2. "Players' Return" - Players who haven't visited T3 Arena for more than 30 days can get extra login rewards and tasks. Invite your friends to check out what's new!;

3. The "Ultimate Core Mission" event is scheduled to be removed.

>>>Quality of Life Improvements

"T-COM's great efforts are bringing more thoughtful systems and improvements to you"

1. Daily "First Share" Reward: Collect additional rewards by sharing with friends! Resets daily;

2. Matchmaking Queue: Players can now claim rewards, purchase items and switch the in-Lobby Hero while waiting in queue;

3. Friends List Bug: Fixed an issue which caused in-game frame drops when adding too many Friends;

4. Hero Selection Bug: Fixed an issue where players could repeatedly select the same Hero;

5. Various UI and sound design improvements.

shouldn’t have added the swapping heroes option, or had to put a swap limit. it would be now less competitive n players just gonna spam change to counter opponent heroes also it made it looks like more like p2w game. anyway otherwise great update.

The patch note was 15 hours ago before the update, saying the ultimate core mission will be removed. Less than a day to let player covert their remaining cores. Is this a joke? I had 20 cores left.

They finally see a problem with their game. Not being able to change into a different hero mid game. Players are not allow to switch to other champ that the team need because your whole team picked DPS thinking that's a good idea. Still not a major change. This game need more change than hero swapping mid match. Instead of 3v3 why not 4v4 or 5v5? There isn't much people when you need help. The map need fix. Especially the payload maps. The hero need to be purchasable by a in game currency instead of waiting for a progression system. I hate that sh!t. Also the level up thing on heroes is stupid. Remove it! Design better heroes, there is literally a TF2 spy copy hero in the game. they didn't even try. Make interesting heroes who abilities compliment other teammates abilities, instead of making 10 year old girl with multiple dashes, invisibility, self healing and a nuke in one ability. After you do all of that you will see a significant increase in player base.
