DEVBLOG025 - Biweekly Progress

Hi guys, it's Mammon again and I'm bringing the latest progress on Project EVO. Two weeks ago we've shipped version Beta 1.4 and we still focus on core gameloop updates. But in the future we need to move on to the official launch, leading us to more works of onboarding, monetization and usability. We will keep making tweaks to the core gameplay but we think that the general framework of core gameplay is settled. Gameplay

1. Core gameplay tweaks:

a. Optimized the rule of random respawns.

b. Slightly changed the drop rate and the cost of crude oil and steel stag.

c. Optimized the research tech tree.

2. Usability updates:

a. Optimized the aim assist.

b. Finished the design of the Ping system.

3. New contents:

a. Finished 50% of the new top tier civilization ruin, I think we are going to call it military base or something.

b. The helicopter animation rigged.

c. Season Pass function finished.( Note that this is only the function framework, the missions and rewards are to be confirmed)

d. The new map is work in progress. We have optimized the effects of stones.

Bug FixesAt present, there is still a problem that sometimes players can not switch the lonewolf/squad mode and enter the sessions. We are urgently repairing it and hope to solve this problem quickly. This week's bug fixes are as follows:

Bug Fixes:

1. Fixed some abnormal art assets.

2. Fixed an issue that upgrading a Workbench to Lv. 3 required Iron Bars.

3. Fixed an occasional issue that killed Banshees and Vultures would not drop any loot.

4. Fixed an issue that the camera could pass through the walls in the upper part of the Yellow Vault in Cape Hattersborne.

5. Fixed an issue that zombies would get stuck on the second floor of the Green Vault in the Riverbank Retreat.

6. Fixed an issue that Low Walls could be built in damaged Half Walls when in repair mode.

Optimizations:

1. Stopped the leaderboard from flashing when the player tapped the same place repeatedly.

2. Added the Brazil server to the recruitment panel.
