1. Fast paced gameplay

Rizline is a pretty fast paced game, but timings on the easy difficulty are pretty forgiving. Most of the tracks in the game are high bpm, so you wont have time to get bored and animation on the screen will help you with that.

2. Nice visuals

While you are playing the level you see the line that will move notes to you, for each level there is a unique animations and shape changes based on the song. It make playing the game more fun and adds to the overall feel.

3. Music style

Its personal for each player, but Rizline is focused on electronic dance music with that anime feel. I personally liked it, and it will cater to the specific audience. You can find artists like Reku Mochizuki, U-ske and Ebimayo that established themselves pretty firmly in rhythm game genre.

CONS

1. Controls

Controls are crucial for fast paced games. Rizline have it covered, its pretty easy to get and responsive, but when you get multiple buttons on the screen its hard to properly hit them if you have big fingers. It will get better as you will get used to controls, but very irritating at first. Playing with your phone on the table will make it easier.

2. No leaderboards

It would feel natural to be able to compare your results with your friends and other players to see how you are doing. It would also motivate to get higher score.

Verdict. Is Rizline good?

Yes

Its a nice rhythm game with great songs, interesting visuals and sweet vibe. If you like this kind of music you will love the game. Controls could be better, but they are pretty easy to get used to. I'd like to see some more chill tracks though, for some relaxed gameplay, like main menu music.
