Trinity Seven Mobile Idle RPG Shutting Down

Trinity Seven Phantasm Library and Seventh Sol, the popular idle RPG title, will soon be shutting down after four years of service. The game was based on the Trinity Seven anime, which itself was inspired by the manga of the same name created by Kenji Saito and Akinari Nao in 2014.

Developed by Silicon Studio, the game was revealed in December 2017 and officially released on March 22, 2019, after a brief hiatus. It featured an easy match-3 action auto-battle system that allowed players to tap on gems to do damage to their adversaries while characters battled automatically.

Despite not being critically acclaimed, Trinity Seven Phantasm Library and Seventh Sol managed to garner a loyal following. However, the game recently announced its shutdown, which is scheduled for June 13, 2023.The makers attributed the reason for the shutdown to the challenge of continuing to provide satisfying updates to players.

Though sudden, the announcement was somewhat expected given the game's current state. As of April 13, 2023, players can no longer purchase items from the shop but can still use the crystals they have purchased in the game.
