Peggle meets Slay the Spire in this quirky roguelike RPG

Translate
Peglin is a near-perfect blend of pinball and old-school roguelikes. Combat is turn-based, but instead of standard weapon attacks, you deal damage by shooting orbs at pegs. The higher your score, the more damage you'll unleash on your foes.
The concept is a simple one, but it's incredibly addictive, especially when the roguelikes come into play. Once you've successfully vanquished your opponents, you'll have the chance to purchase new orbs with special abilities. You can also upgrade your current orbs, gaining access to powerful abilities that will help you take out stronger enemies later on.
At the end of a battle, you play another game of pachinko to determine where you go next. This can give you access to treasure chests and special events, but it could also send straight towards powerful monsters. I really appreciate that the game gives you some control over its random elements.
While the full version of Peglin is $8.99, you can play through the first area for free. By the time I'd cleared the forest, I was hooked, so I was more than happy to shell out for the full version. If you're a Peggle addict, or if you can't seem to get enough of roguelikes, try out the free version and see what you think!
