It works pretty fine to me. The need for an internet connection is still an excruciating thing to have since it's just a single player game.
The ads are nowhere to be seen, which is both good and bad. The reason for it's to be good is, well, I hate ads, and for the bad one is that, I can't watch ads to double up my rewards and temporarily unlock a level that's used to be unlocked before updating the game (good thing there's a "restore" option, so I didn't lose all of my previous progress, but still).
Now I'm highly dependent on ads because of that reason.
