AntiVine - A Super CUTE and GORGEOUS 3D Puzzle Game

Translate
Antivine is a 3D puzzle game available on mobile devices. With it's bright and cartoony 3D visual style, and cute character designs, this game does look like a cute puzzle game for sure. Interestingly enough the game does have a narrative when it begins, it's not just throwing you straight into a puzzle situation. Instead you are slowly introduced to how the puzzles work in the game, while also being introduced to the story and lore of this world.
You play as Senshu, a young tree person who you find out cannot turn into a full treeman and grow berries like the rest of their tribe. Senshu's mother tells the player that because Senshu is different from the others, he must seek out the God and find out his place.
The game has also multiple early story cinematics that let you know that Senshu was also bullied due to being different from the others in the tribe as well. As you progress in the tutorial of the story the mother sadly turns into a tree man along the way which causes Senshu great sadness and leaves the tribe in search of answers.
Gameplay wise the puzzles can get challenging but not so much that it will make you want to quit. And the introduction of Mumei, a lost tree person that could potentially be the same as Senshu is super cute too. Mumei adds a new level of strategy to the puzzle levels.
Having to drop Mumei off at certain spots to keep plant bridges open, or to help hide dangerous obstacles, even placement of Mumei has to be done right, since you cannot control Mumei the same as Senshu. While Senshu's movements rely on tapping on the path to take, for Mumei you must have a path cleared and placed on the right tile, and then you have to flick up on the screen to have them path to Senshu.
It can be a bit fidgity but it's okay in general. I loved having Mumei join Senshu, I was glad Senshu wasn't alone in his journey and the fact that you carry Mumei in your bag is just super adorable. Combining Mumei with Senshu makes the puzzles even more challenging since you have to try and figure them out while using 2 characters, but at the same time, maybe it makes things better, since you have 2 characters to help solve the puzzle instead of just one. I suppose it depends on how you take it.
Visually the games 3D graphics are cute and colorful. And with the ability to turn the screen to see different angles of the puzzle and to move the bridges, it shows that the game is a full 3D environment. The characters are cute and I love their designs.
I think Mumei is especially adorable, and her animations when running to Senshu is super cute too. I saw that there is also costumes, though I don't know how to earn them yet, but it's nice that there is the possibility of getting costumes for Senshu. I hope you can get some for Mumei too. Antivine is a super gorgeous and cute game that I think visually you will enjoy.
Overall I'd say that AntiVine is one the rare puzzle games that I actually enjoy. I'm really not a big fan of puzzle games overall, but AntiVine is one that I think is special enough to be fun to play. I highly recommend you give it a shot. You could be pleasantly surprised.
