The world has changed and now you must survive! Undawn Overview

A new Zombie game coming out soon; this one is like a life simulator for Zombie Apocalypse, but it does something abit different than the other zombie games out there.

Today we are looking at a Game called Undawn.

Story:

Explore, adapt, and survive in Undawn, a free-to-play open-world survival RPG for mobile and PC developed by LightSpeed Studios and published by Level Infinite. Embark on an adventure with other survivors four years after a worldwide disaster where hordes of infected roam a shattered world. Undawn combines PvP and PvE modes as players fend off dual threats of the infected and other humans as they fight to survive in this apocalyptic wasteland.

Gameplay

The gameplay is unique in the fact it goes into expansive detail about how the character has to:

Sleep

Shower

Wash their Clothes

Eat Food

Bathroom

Not many Zombie Apocalypse games do that; most have a sleep, gain energy, or build your weapons and base.

Other than that, the game needs alot of work, with some of the audio in the game not catching up with the text, aiming with the gun is a bit frustrating, and most of the characters feel stiff... meaning they feel robotic. Hopefully, these things will change over time.

The world is very well designed, some zombie enemies do change up the game abit, and the freedom to change/update your base the way you want to also helps immerse yourself into the gaming world of zombies.

Thoughts:

This game is taking a unique way of going about the zombie apocalypse, but at the same time, some things need to be updated to get a good response out of games once released.

Gun handling for controller and PC Keyboard

Update the Audio latency.

Future Ideas:

After playing Undawn, the developers are going on the right path, but some things could be added to improve the game.

Gun Customization

Better Dailys for more ways to get in-game currency, or Boost Days for more

Expand Character Customization ( Eyes, hair colors two different colors)

Closer:

This is still a very good concept of Undawn. If they can fix any of these issues, it might have a better self-life among gamers.
