A splash of R.E. and a pinch of HEAVEN DUST, Mobile Game that reminds you of Classic Resident Evil.

Heaven Dust is a fun Top Down zombie horror game that is sure to remind you of the Classic Resident Evil games. It will offer you a mix of puzzle solving, zombie shooting action and resource management. It has a PC version released on Feb 26, 2020 and it now has a Mobile version just for our pleasure.

(I mean look at this, it even referenced one of the iconic healing items in the RE franchise, the "Green Herb".)

The Good:

Mysteries and Secrets

The puzzles in the game are quite enjoyable to me and although it had me scratching my head solving some of its mysteries and secrets. It never failed to capture my interest. I was actually quite surprised of the number of secrets that you will discover in this game.

The Bad:

UI & Controls

I had a hard time getting used to the UI and the Controls because the game is on Portrait Mode and it had an akward control system that does not work well with it, so everything felt clunky when controlling the character from interacting with objects up to shooting zombies.

The Ugly:

The truth is, even though Heaven Dust is a fun to play game on its own right, it did not really have something new to bring to the table.

It's just a game that pays homage to the Classic Resident Evil Franchise, nothing more and nothing less.

I believe that is not really enough to help it against other creative and original entries in the Pocket Playfest.
