Contra: Tournament - A Quick Game Review

Contra: Tournament is an action shooter mutiplayer mobile game. Honestly, this game reminded me of PUBG right away with the basic gameplay features but with classic CONTRA characters in it. For a classic 2D adventure contra player like me, this game is certainly being presented in different gameplay style compared to its classic gameplay mode. None the less, the graphics, audio and massive open world are quite awesome in this game where our contra characters can do lots of stuff. Personally, I liked the character artworks and attack animations in this game which feels quite real and nice.

Contra offers you with 5 different characters with different unique skills and abilities. I was quite happy to see different characters with different roles where you can co-operate with your team members to build a great balanced team. We have tank, support, sniper and rambo (LOL). Team play is very crucial in this game mode where you fulfil your role effectively for easy win in the game.

I really loved massive options of weapons in the game with cool designs and effects. The game even has laser guns which I really enjoyed a lot. You can look into the every weapons to see which type of weapon will suit you the most and you can get those weapons from the map loots and supply chests.

As a character, you can collect loots and equip the best possible weapon. Switching weapon is quite easy and you can easily access your inventory bag to use various items like medical kits right away for effective survival gameplay. With your contra action figures, you can double jump with signature somersault move and you can even slide in the game while firing your gun which gives the RAMBO vibe. I was quite happy to see such amazing unique features in this game to give that classic contra movements.

I found the teamplay to be very effective in this game where you can easily corner an enemy to score a good kill. The crossfire icon is pretty good in this game as well which gives a good location of your enemy and you can get to action asap. The gameplay is definitely stable without lag or crash and I got pretty good ping as well with my 4G internet connection.

As an open world game, this game offers a lot of usable stuffs like vehicles, weapon and so many other stuffs. Riding vehicle is easy with simple controls.

All that said, to win the game, you need to survive till the end and your stats will be shown later on where you can see how much kills you have scored and who are the best MVP players around. More you play, more rewards will be given to you based on your performance in the game.

Overall, this game is quite awesome with amazing graphics and massive open world where you can do almost everything as a contra warrior. I highly recommend you guys to try out this free to play game. Cheers!
