Fun tower defence game with a little twist.
I love tower defence games since they are easy to pick up and play and there is considerable amount of strategy involved. This brand new addition to the genre brings an extra dimension to it by enabling to alter the path that waves take to your base.
You have to buy blocks that seem like inspired from Tetris(Good Job!) Which have some basic plates and a turret plate. By using these blocks, you can alter the path a wave takes since it picks the shortest route which introduces another dimension of strategy to normal tower defence.
Aside that, like other tower defence, there are a number of turrets. Each turret has an element associated to it. A very good point is that the cost of all turrets is same no matter what tier. However, everytime you buy a block, next block becomes expensive.
There are also tower based recipes in the game. You can mix towers according to a recipe and get an advanced tower which combines the towers and also gets a skill. An advanced tower can be combined with other advanced towers and retain both towers skill. Do try the game to make your own unique powerhouse of a tower!!
This way the game provides a great deal of freedom in not only tower management but also terrain control and is certainly a refreshing take on the solid genre.
A bug I noticed though is that when you click on buying blocks button, you can't go back without buying any block and some spelling mistakes during the tutorial. These are not deal breakers though, as of now it has a lot to offer and a huge potential for development due to the customisable aspect of it.
A 9/10 mustplay !!
