Pros:
- Beautiful and intricate structures, with fixed path to reach from the beginning of each chapters to the end. Every chapters has different sceneries and all of them are beautiful on its own.
- Superb music, lore, and characters designs and background (as expected from Yoko Taro).
- Hard pity after 200 pulls with each 10x multi costs 3k gems. Hard pity token cant be carried to another banners meaning you need to prepare enough gems to have enough pulls to reach it. I was able to gather gems equivalent to hard pity after 4-6 months. F2p friendliness wise, its borderline acceptable.
- Gameplay is turn based with a sense of arpg. You are able to see each of the units in your team attacking live and they have cool attack moves.
Cons:
- Lacking of contents but unnecessarily grindy. New chapter is usually released after 4 months and sub events are always released biweekly. Grinding for subevents is time taxing since its basically repeating the same stage over and over again and you need to do so to buy all of the necessary stuffs in event shop.
- Game is grindy but forcing you to click repeat after every 10 times since the game only limit the auto repeat up to 10 times. Yes, you can skip the battle but its limited because one battle costs 1 skip ticket and those tickets are limited either. Without auto clicker to automatically pressing repeat, you'll be wasting time waiting to click repeat after 10-15 minutes.
- Gameplay is basically nonexistant. You only need to click the skills which can be done in auto with exception in harder modes or pvp where you need to time the skills tapping.
- Buggy ad button. In average, you can earn 50 gems for every ads but the button need to be clicked a lot to trigger the ad. Its very tiring for just watching a single ads to get such miniscule gems.
- You cant see your opponents' teams in pvp. You can hardly guess their teams based on their total power, which is stupid because this involves rng, so if you bring the wrong team for the wrong opponents, you'll lose.
