Take your money somewhere else people. Buy Terraria or btd6 not this. There's a difference between a hard game and an unfair game and this is just straight up unfair. The characters are really fun to play especially the bird character. And the bosses are difficult but are actually skill based. The only problem I have with this game is how terribly the basic enemie encounters are balanced. New waves starting in the middle of previous ones with no intermission in-between them. The desert area specifically is horribly designed when it comes to both the way the enemies behave (type of attacking method and extra mechanics like cloaking) and where they are (where are they placed and how many are there). The unnecessary spam of ranged enemies that do 30-70 damage depending on the enemy type you have to take out first while being chased by extremely tanky rushing enemies like that stupidly unbalanced shotgunner and the other guy that rams you. Can rarely get past the desert area to even be bother by the 3rd area enemies because of how little hp you ever get by the 4th stage there's just too many enemies and you die pretty much every time. Not even gonna bother to mention the amount of farming you have to do to get upgrades or the fact that only 2 out of the like 8 characters in the game aren't locked behind a pay wall not counting the starter character. Plus it doesn't even work without wifi even though it's single player which is an automatic L.
