can anybody tell me is there a story line in this game?

I really wanted to enjoy this game and wanted it to be like a mobile version of starfield, but after playing for an hour or so I found myself running out of resources and most importantly parts to craft weapons, and not being able to craft weapons when you have to get to areas swarming with enemies to retrieve other ship and machine parts made this really difficult to progress, also there's not much of a tutorial and clicking on a required resource doesn't give you hints on where to retrieve it from, it's a good idea and it was a genre of game I was looking for but it has its flaws.
