Have we finally received The Division we've always wanted!?

Translate
Game: The Division Resurgence
Platform: Android & iOS
Genre: Loot & Shooter | Open World | PvPvE
Duration: November 16th to December 29th
IMPORTANT It is critical to emphasize this. This world is identical to the one you encountered in the first game, particularly within the Dark Zone. If you're seeking for something new and exciting. It's the same game, except it's now available on mobile devices. So in essence, a lot of the content is just reused content, which is very upsetting.
How to gain access Those lucky enough to have gained access to the beta or private server for selected content creators can play the Ubisoft-developed game for select mobile devices.
Sadly, in the current state of affairs, if you are operating an older device than any recent, current or next gen then this game cannot be downloaded, let alone played. You can get around this by using the BlueStacks emulator, although it, too, has limited support which won't see full support until the full release in 2024.
If you've played any previous The Division game, you'll know that Ubisoft has a habit of not maximizing its full potential, holding it back from the game we all wanted that was presented to us 10 years ago during their E3 showcase. It still sends shiver down my spine with what could and should have been all those years ago now.
Overview & Story The Division's plot revolves around a pandemic virus spreading in the near future, decimating New York. A group of people who have been trained to work in disaster situations are activated in an attempt to save who and what remains. These people are known as "The Division". The voice acting is great, and the battles between the good and bad factions are well thought out, yet they don't detract too much from the basic gameplay along side many lore items and background story lore.
Graphics & Presentation While the game can look nice. Unless you have a brand new and powerful device like the iPhone 15 or a recent model like the iPhone 13, the game can not be downloaded. If you're using anything older than that, it appears that there isn't any support for you to physically be able to get it through the App store. There were a lot of stutters and lag spikes, as well as full-on disconnects, so it wasn't a seamless experience.
Gameplay & Combat The best mobile FPS games available. Though this is most likely due to the nature of how the game can be played. I'm curious why they even have a capability on a mobile device that allows you to play like you're on a PC or a console? While the many ways to explore combat rather than needing to utilize the touch pad helps to provide a more seamless experience. Wouldn't it have been simpler to offer the game for PC users as well instead of asking us to spend $1,000 on a whole new gaming phone?
Progression Leveling up and progressing through the game is entirely up to you. Taking on bosses and other players as a group or doing it alone and complete weekly / daily / timed events to earn the best in slot weapons and gears to help you grow stronger.
Performance Aside from a few crashes here and there. The game was enjoyable in short bursts, but, as with the original titles The Division and The Division 2, long periods of playtime were tiresome and eventually dawned on you, that you were wasting time.
Conclusion Resurgence is essentially a clone of The Division. Because the majority of gamers will utilize a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad, it makes little sense to limit ourselves to mobile devices that many of us will most likely not have.
The game feels like it is meant to be played casually on the go while you're at work, school, or just have a few minutes to accomplish a mission or two. It's been seven years since The Division was released, and seven years since many of us have been waiting for the version shown at E3. It's a shame, because while the original game wasn't flawless. Despite having logged over 200 hours in it with friends, it was still a lot of fun to play on occasion. This game genuinely is fun, but I had a huge urge to revisit the first game considering it is using a lot of the assets in it from the first.
