loving what I'm playing so far.
So awesome I got to download the closed beta through taptap. I'm loving it. Still risk of rain with microtransactions to get new units. But the gameplay is top down but ultimately the same progression. You get a timer for enemy difficulty. You hit a wall at some point but the greatest part about it is, to get over that wall you can return to older missions to replay at a higher difficulty, gather more loot and rank your squad up. So far since it's a beta they use in game currency instead of premium for now.
Think of it as a ARPG but with all risk of rain progression intact and more linear.
