What if the X-Files was a computer game from the '80s? Get ready for Bahnsen Knights

Translate
When it comes to horror something about the '80s just hits harder. The look, the music, the feel—the 1980s is just the perfect era for creepy stuff. Developer LCB Game Studio seems to have recognized that, which is why its next game, Bahnsen Knights, is both set in 1986 and looks like a PC game that could have been released right around that same time.
Bahnsen Knights is actually the latest in a series of games from LCB Game Studio and publisher Chorus Worldwide Games known as Pixel Pulps. These adventure games use stylized retro graphics and music to tell unsettling horror stories. In the case of Bahnsen Knights, that story revolves around Boulder, an undercover agent who has been sent to Tornado Alley to infiltrate and take down an evil cult.
That cult isn't giving up without a fight, though, and the deeper Boulder gets into his investigation, the more it seems like these fanatics may have actually tapped into some sort of supernatural power. We can't wait to see what twists and turns away in this tale. LCB Game Studio is promising a branching narrative, as well as lots of puzzles to solve as you work your way through it.
Bahnsen Knights arrives on December 14, 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and S. We'll be holding our own investigation and will report back with our findings; watch out for a quick review from one of TapTap's editors closer to the game's launch.
