Experience the Three Kingdoms & Take Control! | Infinite Borders Review!

Touted as “one of East Asia’s most popular strategy games,” Infinite Borders has now been released for PCs and phones worldwide. In this game, players jump into China’s most favorite backdrop: the Romance of the Three Kingdoms time period. Infinite Borders is a medieval Chinese warfare strategy game that encompasses much more than just combat on the battlefield. Your task isn’t just winning wars; it’s running a thriving kingdom.
At the start, players pick a region of their choosing, each with its one player/region ecosystem and related lore. Once this is done, you have now taken the first step in a long game of patience. Infinite Borders will teach you to become a master of the waiting game.
Upgrades, improvements, movements across the board, and more all take time to fulfill. You’ll have to plan your moves strategically to maximize time efficiency. For example, you can’t field one of your armies if they’re currently drafting soldiers to bolster their ranks, and refilling your army’s strength takes time. That is time you could be using to expand your territory, but you can’t expand territory without having a strong army to back you up.
Your armed forces are built from Infinite Borders’ hero system. To no one’s surprise, it’s gacha. You have the benefit of pulling on lower tier banners without using premium resources, but gachas will always favor big spenders and the like. Still, the monetization could be worse. There isn’t a battle pass or anything of the like, so the main is MOSTLY a level playing field.
All-in-all, I’m pretty impressed with how player-friendly Infinite Borders is. It gives you a lot to do without feeling overwhelming to jump into, like other strategy games. The game rewards you for looking through all of its missions and quests. Time you put in is time you get out, and, like I said, this game is all about time.
So, if you have an itch for a long-term, long haul war strategy game, expand your horizons with Infinite Borders.
