MY TAPTAP CLOUD GAMING EXPERIENCE Exceptionally well done!
TapTaps' new service, enables users to transmit DEMOs directly to their devices from a virtual computer rather than directly installing them and taking up space, is very intuitive. The functionality works well here as the game is very slow and stationary.
Surprisingly, I preferred this version even more than the PC, it was well optimized for the game and general gameplay input, the UI isn't helpful so just tap the screen and play as if you were playing the normal version. The gameplay felt a lot more fluid and that's probably because the game was recently updated with new skills and relics. But I was very pleased with this on Cloud Gaming as a whole.
In my opinion, the service is highly suitable for leisurely-paced games that do not demand significant input in rapid succession. This is primarily due to the intermittent nature of the connection, which varies depending on your geographical location, your internet speeds and the server and it's status.
The connection was devoid of any underlying issues; it was crystal clear and input latency was nonexistent, ensuring a seamless experience.
WHAT IS THE CLOUD GAMING EXPERIENCE? TapTap will initiate this event following its launch on December 23, 2023 ending on January 7th 2024. Indie Developers have the opportunity to exhibit their work to the TapTap community where users are able to vote for the titles they enjoyed the most.
Those who are acquainted with the June-introduction of the Pocket Playfest should not find this particularly unexpected as it was a very well received event!
The unique aspect of this event is that these games have not been made available for mobile; therefore, you will have the exclusive opportunity to play them here first!
How it works This format is a double tournament in which participants have the opportunity to play (2) games and vote on their preferred game daily for an entire week. The game that receives the most votes will advance to the championship round.
Rewards You really do not want to pass up this opportunity due to the cumulative value of the prizes which include 5 grand totals of $1,000 each, in addition to a Steam Deck and 3 Elite Xbox controllers, are things that will be awarded. Absolutely insane!
Competing Games While the complete list of games to be exhibited is unknown, specific games such as the one presented here will be among the limited number. Global Event Despite the fact that this is a global event, this service will only be accessible in the United States and Canada to guarantee that participants have an exceptionally seamless experience devoid of 400-500 latency.
Overview COMBO CARD CLASHERS is an intriguing take on the concept of deck building and combo making. It gives players the chance to combine different cards in a wide variety of different ways, allowing them to adapt to the circumstances at hand.
There are some cards that can be played freely, while others may cost mana to use and others that are exclusively for buffing or de-buffing. You can place those cards to the side and replenish your mana as well as many other things if you are reaching the point where you are running out. It makes something common, a bit more unique.
Graphics & Presentation It is not particularly sophisticated. In terms of design, it is rather simple, and it provides some captivating music that makes each and every combat appear to be triumphant and exciting. I would have liked to have a feature that would have enabled me to determine who on my team was going to attack whom and vice versa for the enemies when playing as a group, or perhaps additional cards that had defensive skills, given that the majority of the cards I ever obtained were damage-dealing ones.
It's possible, however, that this was the case all along in a way to provide an additional degree of difficulty by providing damage and sustain, but not providing defense cards as that would be what recruiting your team is meant to do for you, decreasing damage, healing and so on. It could be a deal breaker for some players.
I can't say I really like the AI visuals, which is obvious because of the hands being all distorted and wrong, while also having the developers layer on top of it a water wave effect as if it was done to completely mask the fact, but it wasn't done all that well.
Gameplay I suppose that it would be simpler to compare it to another game; but, doing so would not really be giving the game any credit for the modifications that they chose to make in order to make it possible to use the one-of-a-kind features they incorporated You make progress by going to the right, up, or down, but you can never go back. Your objective is to stay alive for a sufficient amount of time while also working to improve your deck and your allies along the way. You will be able to obtain additional stats and leveling as you engage in more battles when you do so. There are even instances in which you can acquire monsters as drops for recruitment purposes and many equipment items and relics to power you up, so look ahead and plan it all out!
It is a deck builder, but not just that. Because of the way the conflict is designed, you are able to position cards on the board in whatever order you choose switching them in any order any amount of times until you are satisfied, every single turn. They remain there during the entirety of the battle. This gives it a distinctive feel. During the process of attempting to manage your mana and combinations for each card, you make adjustments and shift them about or put them on pause.
Conclusion My opinion is that it does not require a great deal of further modifications. In spite of the fact that it is already very fun, I would want to see perhaps more defensive cards in the beginning. It's possible that Slay the Spire and a large number of other deck building card battlers are influencing this opinion. Because, after all, this is an Auto-battler, meaning it is trying to be something different and unique.
