MY TAPTAP CLOUD GAMING EXPERIENCE It was positive, but needs polish.
TapTaps' new service, enables users to transmit DEMOs directly to their mobile devices from a virtual computer rather than directly installing them and taking up space, it's very intuitive but the functionality that is currently being implemented here just doesn't seem to function well because it's a PC game being streamed to Mobile. When I refer to the game with this service as "Semi-Optimized," I mean that it operates well and can be played in its entirety; however, there were two fundamental issues that proved to be somewhat annoying to resolve.
This version requires you to keep your finger on the screen at all times. In contrast to the PC version, which simply requires you to click the screen at the bottom to move your character left and right, and then release the mouse if you no longer wish to move. Doing so causes your character to rubber band to the left of the screen, which will make it difficult to survive waves if you are unable to activate towers.
The information in the store is not even readable. In order to discern the function of the towers, you must either purchase them and place them on the board yourself, or possess precise knowledge of their functions. It is highly inconvenient because, as previously stated, if you are unaware of any of the structures, you will squander their complete potential and ultimately fail due to insufficient synergy accumulation.
If you have knowledge of the functions of each tower and maintain your finger on the screen, then it's fully playable and the gameplay does not change; there are a few minor issues with the text overlaying occasionally covering up the tower's information, but these minor things don't really hinder gameplay.
With the many concurrent effects, the Cloud Experience ultimately began to pixelate the stream, rendering it illegible and difficult to discern the locations of the demons.
WHAT IS THE CLOUD GAMING EXPERIENCE? TapTap will initiate this event following its launch on December 23, 2023 ending on January 7th 2024. Indie Developers have the opportunity to exhibit their work to the TapTap community where users are able to vote for the titles they enjoyed the most. Those who are acquainted with the June-introduction of the Pocket Playfest should not find this particularly unexpected as it was a very well received event! The unique aspect of this event is that these games have not been made available for mobile; therefore, you will have the exclusive opportunity to play them here first! How it works This format is a double tournament in which participants have the opportunity to play (2) games and vote on their preferred game daily for an entire week. The game that receives the most votes will advance to the championship round. Rewards You really do not want to pass up this opportunity due to the cumulative value of the prizes which include 5 grand totals of $1,000 each, in addition to a Steam Deck and 3 Elite Xbox controllers, are things that will be awarded. Absolutely insane! Competing Games While the complete list of games to be exhibited is unknown, specific games such as the one presented here will be among the limited number. Global Event Despite the fact that this is a global event, this service will only be accessible in the United States and Canada to guarantee that participants have an exceptionally seamless experience devoid of 400-500 latency.
Overview I am someone who is quite interested in light gambling, so I feel obligated to point out that DEVIL SLOT MACHINE provides a wealth of information that is rather insightful for individuals who are interested in gambling in a more serious manner, essentially seal their fate by giving up their life in exchange for a shot at riches or in this case survival, something a lot of people can apply to themselves to.
Graphics & Presentation The game does not yet support a variety in it's soundtrack. Which is a bummer.
However, there is something that is just so... loud and obnoxiously satisfying about it, like when you enter a Casino or an Arcade, you are greeted by bright lights and loud sounds that sound so fantastic that even if you were to lose, the sounds are still pleasant. In spite of the fact that it can seem repetitive, I find that it is repetitive in a positive sense. It does not offer too little, nor does it have a very fancy appearance.
Not only is it pixelated, but it also contains a little mixing of bizarre Claymation-styled features for the Devil. It has a look that is all its own. I really appreciate this weird yet interesting visual concept, that very few games do too often.
Gameplay Have experience with gambling? Maybe more with the Pachinko Machine? Then you shouldn't have much issue understanding the concept of this gameplay. It has been altered in a very distinctive manner, as in you don't shoot a ball into the machine and into one of the many sockets for high points, you are instead placing towers on the nubs that are inside the machine bolstering your defenses to not take damage from the many different Demons that will fall from above. This will allow you to adjust their location and build around their perceived trajectory.
Towers cost life force that you have saved up after each and every successful fight, if you take damage from a Demon that touches the bottom, you lose life. You need to mix talents and your tower effects. It might sound a little dull, but it's actually rather satisfying thinking about the likelihood that one single demon will fall and not touch a single tower because it was lucky enough to fall straight through the cracks and kill you because you decided that going all in with your life-force was okay.
Conclusion I want this game to achieve more of the surrealistic aesthetic. It's not often you get to see these types of visuals. Games like HYLIC and HYLIC 2. I believe that if it were to have a little bit more visual flare and a little bit more translation fixes, it would be much more coherent for the average player. In its current state, there is definitely a lot of potential for it to become something that is better than it now is. I get the impression that it is more than just another game; rather, it is more of a lesson in life, often times when you gamble. You're not just gambling money away.
