The game features two main components: exploration and combat. Players lead Operators in battles, utilizing a new "break" mechanic suggesting an armor penetration and resilience system. Additionally, the Operator development interface indicates professions similar to those in Arknights.
A significant enhancement in Arknights: Endfield is the emphasis on production elements. Players engage in planetary exploration and extraterrestrial colonization, hinting at strategic pipeline planning and industrial production.
