THIS COOL CHALLENGING GAME IS COMING TO MOBILE!

Game: Lost Potato: Premium Platform: MOBILE Genre: Action Roguelike, Bullet Hell, Arena Shooter
Overview
On the surface, Lost Potato may not appear to have much appeal, but Blobfish consistently surprises you by putting a lot of engaging and exciting gameplay in the most simplistic ideas. Lost Potato expands on the premise of Brotato by providing a random selection of traps and effects to help you survive each and every agonizing wave in this 2D action roguelike. While it looks very simple, it's far from it!
Issues
There are two versions: the PC version and the one now accessible for mobile devices. Personally, I much prefer the PC version because of the controls. I can't say it was an easy experience to control and knock enemies into spikes and projectiles to clear the field on Mobile because the controls kept getting in the way of each other, canceling your movement and attack which eventually gets you killed.
This game requires precision and pinpoint accuracy while dodging a torrent of lasers, bullets, and other elements. I can't say I was able to play to my full potential since I believe the controls need to be fine-tuned for the player; unless you can attach an Xbox controller to your device and play it as a Twin Shooter, it can get janky.
It's not clear what each of the powers you get do for you; this may be added to a future edition of the game, but they're certainly not clearly stated with just graphics.
Graphics & Presentation
I did notice that it was a little more pixelated up close, but it didn't change much because you shouldn't have any difficulties with it once you back away from the screen a bit; when you're not right up close, it looks fairly good visually. This is a game you'll want to play for around half an hour because the music, while fitting for the style that it's trying to go for, which is tension, dread, and so on does get boring to hear because of how repetitive it becomes. A few extra soundtracks would be great!
Gameplay
There's a lot of challenge here in terms of making the game harder for yourself based on the powers you start with and the debuffs you choose to take as a result of those powers. Regardless, while it may seem dull, once you get into the content, you'll realize what I mean when I say it's really hard to put down once you get going!
Conclusion
If you're not looking for too much, such as an expensive game or something that takes hours or days to get into, and you're the type of person who enjoys a quick and to the point challenge of your own skill and the use of RNG to make things work, then this game is definitely something you should consider picking up for yourself.
