Demon Hunter is a 2D action RPG in a dark fantasy world. It is one of my favorite games for mobile that brings forth awesome content.
With different types of classes that you can unlock each time you grind, you're a demon hunter who kills demons and monsters. Each class has its progression, as classes can be obtained by continuous fighting through the adventure stages.
The gameplay is very hardcore where you hack and slash your way out of the monsters from every stage. The game offers epic boss battles that you can defeat with pure skill and without proper equipment, each class has its skills and is unique from one another.
Everything can be obtained with pure grind. Although there are pay-to-win options, the game is still better with grinding. The smoothness of every movement and action, including the amazing combos and tricks you can do in fights, makes up for the P2W options because it doesn't affect the overall experience.
You can upgrade your character with equipment, there are also equipment sets that suits each character, so there's a lot of variation on how and what ways to build. You can obtain one-time equipment as rewards from elite stages throughout your adventure if you do not want to spend your diamonds on the gacha.
As I said, the P2W option can be ignored as it doesn't matter. The gacha is right, you can obtain diamonds throughout your gameplay and not be forced to pull out your wallet. Everything is obtainable through grind.
The disadvantage of the game is it looks like it has been abandoned by the developers, as there is an existing bug where you can't save your progression due to the settings UI menu bug where icons are overlapping. A big turn-off as the game heavily relies on hard mode progression.
Nonetheless, I still suggest trying the game. It is very challenging with great controls, combine it with an amazing boss fights and you got yourself a hardcore game.
