This would be an amazing game... if it wasnt hilariously pay to win.
I love this chess-type of game, spent a lot of time with it, and bought the starter pack, the monthly subscription and an event-pass...
My first impression was, that skill was the defining factor in this game, as i had won 41 matches in a row, with increasing disadvantages against players with stronger cards.
Then i advanced to the fourth league, and the power-level raised drastically!
In my last ranked PvP match, my units were lv6, and i had to play against units lv13. There simply wasnt any way to win this match, and i realized, that, at some point, skill is replaced by the strenght of cards, or, to say it clear, the amount of money and grind a player has spent...
As a new player, i would have had to pay more than 1000 Euros to upgrade my deck to a competitive state...
As i said... it was my last match...
