Is emulation of games being forgotten? or is it entering a whole new era, but not on mobile?

we all know and understand emulation, for the past days i have only been playing emulation games on the Delta and the PPSSPP emulator and DolphiniOS, and Lemuroid. my huge question here is: is emulation of games being forgotten? i dont see anymore updates on PPSSPP that much, either does Dolphin. or Delta, still updating but roughly getting any attention at all. thats the problem currently i think with the emulators. as for delta, it could operate NDS and GBA, and much  more. but, when i look up recently to tags like #emulation, all i see is videos about consoles being modded in order to emulate games on the consoles. no updates about the emulators i use. the answer here brings us to the question,: is mobile Emulation being forgotten? dont get me wrong, the PSP Vita is hugely appreciated for is ability to emulate games, so the Nintendo DS too. the PSP 1000-3000, NDSI, and so much more consoles are bringing in the game to emulation. iam not complaining about it (as i actually like this concept and own 2 modded handhelds myself), but will Mobile Emulation forever be forgotten now on? is pretty clearly understood to see it in my visionary.

Go in the discord and github so you can receive latest new regarding to those emulation that you've mention. As far as i know ppsspp or psp emulator is done doing its last and most latest improvements and update that means mr Rydgård end it long time ago. To answer if your question whether if emulation is dying well you are too soon to jump into conclusion good sir as may know just because you can't see many youtube or little to no news you heard doesn't mean its forgotten in fact its thriving each years but only behind the back as you notice the latest shutdowns the community of volunteers and programmers is just being careful so their project will not gone on the same path as the other getting shutdown. Also what is more interesting as of now they are trying to create a program that can run TES Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout NV and oblivion on our mobile they have been progressing continuously they successfully done with TES Morrowind and on their last update they finally be able to load the map of Skyrim and oblivion only no quest no npc but thats a great start this project is called "OpenMW". here is the link to the video https://youtu.be/D-t11y8O3Fw?feature=shared So far they have already released an emulator for Morrowind which has been available for years now https://github.com/xyzz/openmw-android/releases all you need now is a official copy of the game tes morrowind to play it on mobile and whats more amazing about it is mods can run on it without much issues.

Is true that Rydrgard is might abolishing his position as the “director” of PSSPP, because it is very painful how he still manages most of is operations like publishing or him now focusing on the Apple App Store law changes, but i never heard about that new program, thats insane!

All PSP games can be played in PSP emulators as of this moment if you have the right files. And no new games are gonna come out on PSP. Most updates on PSP emulators are either bug fixes or hotfixes (same thing just wanted to sound erudite), presumably because developers know there is nothing to improve on(why fix it if it ain't broken). Hell, PPSSPP still has the same UI as the last decade when I was in middle school lmao.

Yes: i also wanted to mention this but my main talk was: how is PPSPP slowly becoming unpopular? i haven’t seen videos talking about the emulator in a long time, but i also got to agree: the developers are working hard all day, but the community are decreasing day by day.

I don't think it's forgotten in mobile. Apps like yuzu, suyu, and Egg NS are all Nintendo switch emulator for mobile If you have good chipset on your mobile you can even handle BOTW and some other games using those apps Some people are using emulator such as winlator and mobox emulators to run even PC games on mobile but of course you need powerful chipset to be at least playable Idk things on ios, but on Android yeah it not forgotten and it is entering a whole new era we can see progress in Nintendo emulation on mobile cuz those emulation apps are getting better each update English is not my first language so I apologize if I said smth wrong and if you don't understand something you can just ask me back here
