After 15 hours, i just deinstalled BS. It just doesnt do anything better, than the competition:
• Graphics are awful, even on ultra-settings. I appreciate the support for low-level devices, but theres no excuse for not even offering high-definition textures.
• Battle-royales play on huge maps, that shrink slowly, and heroes can redeploy several times, which leads to matches that are taking forever, and are full of bots, on all ranks i have played. I also didnt feel the need to play tactical: just walk around, collect chests, buy your favourite weapon, upgrade your shield and go wild...
• Team Deathmatches are a fast and intense brawl. In a negative sense.
• The gameplay itself is intuitive and precise. I like it.
• There are hero abilities and ingame missions, which i appreciate, but they are pretty unspectacular, and dont add much to the gameplay.
• Rare skins come with unique weapon-upgrades, which is a great reason to collect them. Sadly enough, most of them are locked behind premium currency, which can be obtained only through real money. Which adds a nasty pay2win component to the game.
