I have played this game off and on for several years. here is what I have to say about it and the basicson how it works.
Gameplay: before you even start a match you get a few choices. First is perfection where you are trying to get the most points and build the ultimate kingdom before 30 turns end. Second is domination where your goal is to be the last kingdom left alive in the match. Third is creative where you have control of everything from map size to how difficult the enemies are going to be.
After you customize everything to your liking you get to chose a starter faction. There are 4 free factions the only difference is the stuff they have unlocked in the tech tree at the beginning of the match. Which over all doesn't make a big difference later on the game since everything can be unlocked over time. And once you get in the match you will have 1 settlement and one troop to defend and explore the surrounding area. Since the whole map is covered by the fog of war until you go and explore it.
This game is pretty fun over all especially when you are playing with friends or on a long car ride since it doesn't take wifi to use it plus it keeps your brain thinking about your next move.
