So...I met the #2 Zero Kelvin and He Changed How I see the Vanguard Section [T3 Arena]
Welp, I Guess I'm Still Learning New Things Myself
So I've been secretly sneaking off from my usual teammates to hop into TDM to try and master all heroes in the Vanguard section. I had pretty much gotten all of them down, except one....Zero Kelvin. As a tank main through and through, I have sworn up and down, that this hero is dogshit and can't be practical in any real scenario. I couldn't believe he could be used in any ranked game mode effectively. I use to get this sickening feeling in my stomach when I would watch a random teammate slowly decide to pick him. I can't tell you how many times I've had to do double work because someone tried to bust out Zero Kelvin in a high intensity game. I thought this and so much more, until I met the #2 Global Zero Kelvin player in a match....
I learned so much from fighting him that I didn't quite understand what I was looking at. He played Zero Kelvin beautifully, and got me interested in picking up the hero once again for a reevaluation. LET ME MAKE IT STUPIDLY CLEAR...in the Vanguard section he is still bottom tier, BUT, if played effectively by understanding his mechanics and adjusting playstyles....he can be a huge threat. I've been putting in some hours with him not only in TDM but in the practice arena as well, and I have learned so much about how his snowball works, charged hits, right hand peaks off the snowball, and A LOT more. I'll be posting some gameplay here after work about my findings and show my current gameplay of Zero Kelvin.
(just for the record that #2 Zero Kelvin player still lost because Fade is daddy around these parts, just so you know lol)
