I will have a new phone soon! Right after I finish this last semester of the second year of high school. That means, I will finally have storage for Taptap and also has enough power to run some games I wanted to try for so long. I feel like there's no other place that welcomes me in terms of embracing mobile games more than this place so, I'm just writing my thoughts here.
About the phone that I'm using.
Before this phone, I was given 2 phones to use from my parents. I broke all of them 💀. Then my dad took me to a phone store to buy a new one. My dumbass did NOT know this is gonna be the moment that decides my next few years. I was like "whatever phone works". Even the employee asked me, "do you use your phone to play games or...", and then my dad went it and said, "yeah he just plays some silly games lol". He didn't really say lol but anyways. I got the phone that I'm using now, and will replace in the near future.
Actually, I had a few chances to replace this phone earlier. Last year, my dad promised me to buy me a new phone if my scores were good. My scores was okay but still falls into the low ranks (I'm ranked ~30th in 47 students). And I blew off my chance of obtaining a new phone then. There's also the recent Tet holiday, he just told me would buy me one. That's it! But my glowed-up ass said, "no dad, wait until this school year is over". And the school year is almost over now.
I have definitely grown in my way thinking. I'm not too solely dependent on my smart devices. If anything, I consider them bad. But I can't help but thrive the feeling of finally getting to play some games I have wanted to play in the past but couldn't.
It's almost time. I swear, this summer is gonna be huge for me.
