Maybe an enhanced version of Lords' Mobile, CoC, etc.?
I'm an avid fan of the Microsoft's Age of Empires ever since my childhood. I thought for sure they're going to cook something new related to RTS, turns out it's just another building army/city simulator with a lot of micro transactions.
What I liked about the game:
- Graphics and sounds were enhanced. Game assets were refreshing.
What I think needs improvement:
- Mechanics were literally the same with the other game titles. The only difference was the sprites.
- Micro transactions as usual very predatory. They shoot you straight in your face their discounted packs.
- Story setting is all over the place. We have different civilizations in the past that's for sure, but the civs were all mashed together for a single player, and it's rubbing to me the wrong way.
If you are into the types of games were time is emphasized for you to be stronger with the option of paying to shorten the time needed, then this is for you. I'll continue playing this game for the sake of its game title, that is until the games I actually want will come our way.
