Honestly, Danganronpa 2 is my most favourite part from the Danganronpa series. It was a very rememberable game for me, and I had the best experience while playing it.
The killing game this time is set on Jabberwock Island, which is an Island with a group of five Islands surrounding it, that are connected by bridges. The game sets a beach, tropical atmosphere for the player to enjoy.
The soundtrack of the game compliments the atmosphere even more. Although personally, the soundtracks of all games from the series are good, really. I recommend checking it out!
The gameplay is exciting and fun. During the trials, minigames appear. My most favourite minigame is the unique rebuttal showdown -- although it might be confusing at first for most people. It is a gameplay that immerses you into an argument with another classmate, that turns into a sword fight. In the rebuttal showdown you have limited slashes, so use them wisely. This minigame is also used in Danganronpa V3.
The characters have interesting ultimates and personalities. We even have an ultimate impostor, that looks like Byakuya Togami from the first Danganronpa game.
Overall, I think it's a great sequel. It introduces new unique minigames to the player, and is an improvement from the first Danganronpa(By this, I dont mean to say that the first Danganronpa was bad in any way). I'd love to hear your opinion on the game!
