Help, the ping is so high! (mobile)
Alright so, i live in the middle east and almost every online game i play.. The ping is so high it just ruins the fun.
CoD mobile, Fortnite, T3 Arena, minecraft, brawl stars, Bullet echo, Blood strike, smash legends...
I tried some things to reduce the ping like:
VPNs, changing the DNS, Game boosters, changing servers..
But not all of them worked, the free VPNs does nothing but making it worse, i never tried strong VPNs like "Nord VPN" or "surfshark" because well.. I'm poor and payment methods are mostly unavailable here or hard to get.
And Game boosters does nothing but making your game preform better and connect you to the best DNS in your area, never used ExitLag in the phone i don't know if it works, because again.. I'm poor.
Changing DNS might work for you, but for me it only makes the ping more stable which is good too, better than getting big lag spikes. If you have a computer i suggest you to download program called "DNSbench" it basically searches for the best DNS for you, you can search up a tutorial about it on YouTube.
Changing the server will definitely help, change it to the fastest one for you, some games won't let you change it like CoDm, but according to them "we already connect you to the fastest server based on your location".. and some games doesn't have servers near your area at all, tho most of the time Europe servers work very well for me especially Germany servers.
Try changing your Wi-Fi router to a faster one or more stable one, it might help it might make it worse, i highly suggest to get the newest routers if you have an old one.
Another way to get a better ping is to move out🤡 but imagine leaving your country just because you want to play video games with lower ping.
