Wuthering Waves is a decent and generous gacha-anime-style open world game set in a post-apocalyptic universe tainted by tacite discords outcast aliens who can corrupt humans and infiltrate Solaris 3, one of the planets closest to the sun.
Down here is the part may frustate some people👇
(Can't remove the actual fact that Wuwa is somewhat similar to genshin impact and ToF at some point.)
(And what are these points? First and foremost, the gameplay of Wuthering Waves is nearly comparable to Genshin Impact. Granted, this isn't really uncommon. Many more open-world titles provide similar levels of exploring. Likewise Genshin Impact was also accused of being a The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild clone prior to its release due to some early video and area examples. But the truth is, Wuthering Waves doesn't seem to have anything unique at launch that we haven't seen in Genshin Impact, Tower of Fantasy, or other titles.)
(Let's give Wuthering Waves some more time, then. There are a number of current parallels to games like Genshin Impact. However, we also know that HoYoVerse ran into similar problems in launch regions. Later upgrades including places like Inazuma, Sumeru, and Fontaine caused that to change. It is possible that Wuthering Waves requires more time to fully develop in this particular scenario.)
There are many new things to experience while completing the game. First, let me discuss the gacha system they implemented in the game; it is by far the most fair, and you can select your first few 5 star characters and weapons. 80 pulls is sufficient, and the rates are reasonable.
Then there's the battle, which is complicated because WuWa is fast-paced and requires exact timing when dodging enemies' attacks. The function parry is also easy to use because it has an indicator that signals when or not to attack. The game is adjusting to combat styles comparable to Sekiro, Elder Ring, and Souls-like type games, so gamers who have played those games will have an easier time understanding the playstyle combat mechanics.
Next, the games introduce new ways for characters to travel, such as climbing in mountains or hills instead of conventional climbing. It also adds sprinting to climb, which prototype, pop, and ac may seem familiar. It is highly useful since you can reach high places in an instant with little effort. It also incorporates the ability to climb over ledges, edges, and infrastructure overlaps, similar to parkour games. What's more, instead of falling to death, your character will glide down gently without dying into the surface of terrains. This ability is unique to Wuwa, as it is absent in other games.
WuWa is visually appealing; you can see beautiful scenery across the map as a result of the developers' artistry and imaginative minds in creating a world based on game lore. The characters are also amazingly well designed, based on each character's personalities, origins, occupations, and, in particular, the resonators and the factions or groups to which they belong.
Music in the game improved every aspect of the game, including environmental exploration, cutscenes, discussions, short films, dungeon exploration, and fighting (boss battle or minor boss, tacit raid, etc.). It matches wonderfully with the game's theme, sometimes feeling strongly, hyper, relaxing, synth, and other lively. It's also a fantastic combination of traditional and modern music, which helps the game come alive. I also noticed that each area on the map has its own music theme, which is great because it changes the vibe and atmosphere of each location when exploring.
As with other games in the genre on mobile platforms, you may notice at the start of the game that it lacks content, but let me tell you that there is actually tons of stuff to do aside from the main quest. There is this side quest, adventure quest, companion quest, daily quest, companion quest, and time-limited event quest, hidden quest and ascending quest, guide book quest. Also, I forgot to mention that the amount of activities on the map is fantastic, such as puzzles that vary, challenges with thrills in both combat and mini games, chests with surprise mini packs of enemies guarding rare chests or standard beacons, nexus towers to unlock, and collectible echoes that can be collected to exchange in-game rewards such as astrite or useful tools.
Another fantastic element of WuWa is that they added the tools or gadgets I mentioned, which are rather useful after you acquire them through a quest, since these gadgets will make your exploration and adventure a lot easier.
Now let me then talk about games technicality problems WuWa is still new and official just been released a couple days ago so its understandable that the game suffers from minor issues such as:
•Overheating Issues, Sudden lag spike, Stuttering fps droprate, fast draining of battery and traffic by servers due too its servicing thousands might be millions users  at the same time varries by time depend.
•Bugs some of players may suffer things like V-posting characters, missing textures this will turn all blank graphics, things getting stuck and glitching characters or objects.
•Game is poorly optimized for mid-end to low-end devices and more reliant on high-end devices.
Worry not, as those troubles are not long-term concerns. As far as we can tell, Kuro is doing everything they can to compensate us for the inconvenience and is working to resolve the current issues in the game; all we have to do is be patient.
👺WuWa's identity Crisis👺
(The game's identity is a little hazy. I have seen people refer to the game as hardcore, even though there is nothing about the entire gameplay loop outside of the gear grind that actually suggests it. I've seen claims that the game is "darker," "post-apocalyptic," "dark fantasy," and "sci-fi," even though the story and setting don't seem to lean toward any of those genres thus far. Some people also think that the game could do more to differentiate itself from Genshin in terms of user interface, revenue, etc. Some think the game's setting and exploration may be made more interesting by doing more than just adding awkward movement improvements.)
👺Echoes Problem👺
(There are much more drawbacks to the echo system than advantages. It's evident that the devs attempted to recreate a system akin to that of Nioh 2, but ultimately chose to impose stat RNG on them in order to introduce gear grind. The RNG involved in attempting to obtain a complete set is still worse than that of Genshin, Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero, even after accounting for the suggested modifications. This, along with the fact that farming mobs in the overworld and using stamina entirely on echo upgrade materials/tuners is the most effective way to grind echo sets, will undoubtedly irritate gamers who abandoned Genshin due to its gear grind.)
👍 Pros:
•New fighting style, unique features, generous and rewarding quests, events, and a fair gacha system will allow you to select your first few desired 5 star resonators, among other generous freebies for new players.
•Character designs are visually appealing, and the in-game music and OST are catchy.
•New open-world to explore solo or with a friend. Things to find alone or with a companion. Rich and enjoyable new memories to create.
👎 Cons:
•Some phone users may have slight technical problems that could be resolved soon by the developers.
•The storyline may lack some flare at times, become monotonous, lack any secrets, and be uninteresting.
•It lacks a simpler sweeping function that would make handling farming character improvement materials quicker and easier.
•Too many loading screens every time you use the fast travel feature, as well as at the start of the login page and also when visiting a new locations.
🕹️ Controls:
•Has the ability to customized and understands.
•Being able to changes from virtual controller into physical joystick.
•Can changes camera angle, positions and how far or closed.
My opinion about Wuthering Waves is that it may not be as solid as other games in the same genres right now, but it has a potential to become one of the best games in mobile. Kuro has sources to make things like Wuwa happen, so it is also possible that the success will continue and that will go by the games continuous improvement. Kuro is a fair game development company, and they are showing it right now how to take care of us consumers by listening to our demands and being generous and not just for profit.
If you disagree with my review or believe it is biased, please share your thoughts on the game in the comments section below and we can discuss it.

Wuthering Waves combat is nothing like Genshins. Wutherings combat actual gets me excited. Thats all i have time to comment on specifically at the moment. Theres nothing wrong with being a Genshin fangirl but stop shitting on other games because of it. Genshins been here, it had more time by itself then any other games like it. Really all it did was come first tho.
