It's as simple as following online guides to let you know if a unit is worth pulling or not. I barely spent any money on this game and I have most of the meta units. I've saved my gems and played it smart. I was able to pull current unit to Pity and still had 40 summon tickets left over to save

wait till they start releasing units with no banners but can be purchased through passes and let the "up" feature in PvP be abused

Salty F2P pvp'er I see. U forgot theres an F2P that managed to reach Challenger rank in ranked without those so-called BP units. Also those BP units are obtainable through banners eventually, the paid users just had earlier access than the rest.
