I think it's better if the developer deletes the story in the game because it's the same as the anime, I mean, why should we bother reading it when we can see the anime, but everyone has their own opinion

I think it's pretty cool to relive the story of sword art online in the game. It wouldn't make any sense to "delete the story" because the more sao progresses as an anime the new seasons gets reanimated and retold as Extra Quests like Alicization and Ordinial Scale. Even so It's all going to be useless since the game is shutting down :(
