This is one of the rare games that does not support auto battle by simply completing a tutorial. Each level must be completed to unlock auto options for it and you will have to progress pretty far into the game before unlocking any sort of generic auto.
This is not a game for people that want to play at work or with short attention spans. It does become a bit monotonous after a while, but there are multiple events and special stages.
There are many characters with different skills, which allows for a variety of strategies. A lot of them are behind gacha, though, so do not expect to start with a team of SSRs. This is not a pay to win game, though. A good team and good rewards are possible without any investment at all.
