The missing candlestick
With all of that solved, you're almost done. Talk to Royde.
Royde will leave, as his officers have found a suspect. Head through the door next to the robot.
Move over to the fridge. You'll find a locked calendar. By pressing the 'Info' button at the bottom, you'll get a hint: "Password Reminder: Days that will not be forgotten."

Next, you'll need to walk up to the four cat paintings above the table. Although no investigation bubbles will appear, you need to inspect them. You'll realize they have hidden switches. You'll need to flip them in a certain order. Return to the Living Room and examine the unique wind chimes hanging from the window near the deactivated butler robot. Note the order of the colors from left to right. Go back to the Kitchen and interact with each painting, noting the colors they change into. Activate the paintings in the same order as the colors of the windchimes from the living room!If you can't figure it out, use the solution below.
1. Five cats.
2. Two cats.
3. One cat.
4. Four cats. One of the paintings will slide upward, revealing a hidden compartment. Inside, you'll find two things: a Gift for Jenny, and an Exquisite Small Key.Take these and head back to the Living Room. Head all the way to the far right side of the room, where you'll find a bookshelf with Mrs. Perry's Diary.
Use the Exquisite Small Key on it to unlock it.Feel free to read the page, to gain some insight into Mrs. Perry and her general hatred for robots. But remembering the hint from the calendar, take note of the date in the Diary.

Return to the fridge and put in the code: 0421.
Take a look at October 19th. You'll find that Mrs. Perry's guest yesterday was a little girl named Jenny.
Jenny? You now have enough Gears to solve the Clock Puzzle. If you're having trouble fitting the pieces together, use the solution below. After watching the cutscene, leave the apartment. Outside, you'll find that Royde and his officers are arresting Christopher, an old beggar you may remember meeting earlier. Rex will disagree, telling Royde that Christopher isn't capable of murder, although he is the thief who stole Mrs. Perry's jewelry from her corpse.
Christopher will be hauled away, and you'll be left alone with Royde. Talk to him. He'll give you permission to investigate the robot in Mrs. Perry's apartment.
The Robot Core

Return to the robot. Investigate it, and you'll find that you need to remove the outer shell of its head. This is simple, just hit the 4 light spot.
Next, you'll be faced with a simple puzzle: taking out the pieces, in order. Each new piece can't be interlocked with another one, in order to be removed.
See the solution below. With the pieces removed, you'll be faced with another puzzle.
This one is a bit more complex, but still not too bad. You can find the solution below.
Step 1. Move Down once.
Step 2. Move Left once.
Step 3. Move Up three times.
Step 4. Move Left once.
With that removed, you'll find that a device has been implanted into the robot's head. Examine it.You'll be treated to a very odd cutscene.Afterward, you'll find Royde next to you, who will tell you that the Secret Service Division has taken over the case.
Moving to the right, you'll be introduced to Weaving and the little girl, Jenny. After talking to them, William will show up with the Murder Weapon.
After discussing things a bit more, you'll be allowed to talk to Jenny. Give her the Gift for Jenny from earlier. She'll start to admit what really happened, and you'll be forced to leave.
Outside, Royde will tell you to meet him in a bar, later on.
After talking to him, move right and you'll find William. Rex will tell him that he's not sure how he got the murder weapon, but it must have been 'quite an adventure'.
